Virtual Meet the Teacher or Virtual Open House Template: This virtual meet the teacher, back to school night, or open house template can help with the stress of starting the year off teaching remotely. It could also be a great back to school activity to share with your students for their first digital assignment. The theme of this presentation matches my Hipster Animals Decor line!
Please note– this product was created for Google Slides. I cannot promise it will work in another program! For the editable pieces you will need PowerPoint.
The first slide has clickable links that take you to 8 sections:
1. Meet Your Teacher (insert photos, Bitmoji, clipart, and information about yourself!)
2. Contact Info (put down your name, email, school phone, etc.)
3. Class Schedule
4. Classroom Procedures (especially if your online expectations are specific!)
5. Important Websites (add clickable links and images)
6. Parent Contact (add a Google Form link so parents can send you their info)
7. Supplies Needed (what will you expect your students to use while distance learning?)
8. Tell Me About You (add a Google Form or Google Classroom assignment that students can complete to send you more information about themselves)
*Also included:
- Welcome slide and Thank You slide (for beginning and ending)
- Editable PowerPoint with blank slides and buttons
Add pictures and edit the text to make the presentation your own! There is also a “Click to Return” button on each slide that takes your back to the first slide. Screen share your presentation during a Zoom meeting and talk through the slides with parents and students!
