If that doesn’t pan out…
I wish I could say that I’ve done something totally awesome and creative today… But sadly I have not. I DID make some delicious chocolate chip pancakes. I am starting to think that if this teaching gig doesn’t pan out, I can always open my own diner.
Here is something that has made me happy– for my last hallway bulletin board I had my kiddos make these top-down view snowmen. Each came out unique and had a personality. I am sadly going to change out my bulletin board for something new– but I wanted to share some of the pics with you!
I also began making some file folder games for my classroom. Here’s the deal though, you have to be one tough cookie if you want to make file folder games. You have to first find the game, download it, print it, cut out the pieces, glue into position, etc. THEN– if you want it to last for a long time you need to laminate it. Which leads to more cutting and putting together. The end result it pleasing. You feel good for all that hard work (and you just pray that the kids can appreciate it too).
And here is an example of the excitement that awaits me!
I guess I did get a little bit creative– I made up my own file folder game. I call it “Synonym Go Fish” (say that one10x fast!).
I can’t get the image to upload very well… but you can click here if you’d like to see more.
And last, but certainly not least, I DID crochet myself something a few weekends ago. It’s a flower pot– because I am a known plant killer (if you don’t believe me check out some of my older posts). But these flowers will NEVER die. And for that I am eternally grateful!
If you would like the pattern for this– it’s right here and really easy to follow!
More to come!
wtf? you made that flower pot? its freaking amazing!
Ooo it wanted me to register something to look at the pattern. So I passed. But the flower pot is pretty amazing! You are so crafty!
Ps.. Your blog, when prompting me to enter that code thing to post a comment, said "please prove you're not a robot" which I find hilarious!
